Cassidy and Jordan love to help their daddy make dinner. He is way more patient with the girls then I am. They made pork loin steaks, Mac and cheese and dinner rolls. They love their little aprons and pot holders which they call pinchers.

Rock The Bayou Music Festival
Shelley, Dee and I ventured out without the hubbies and the kiddos on Friday night. Let me say that we had a blast. My main goal was to see Skid Row but once again Sebastian Bach disappointed me. He is no longer with the band and his replacement stunk. Queensryche, Ratt and Faster Pussycat where great. We didn't get home until 2 am and boy did I pay for it the next day. Today is Sunday and I am still beat.

Stroller fit
Today I took Irelynn to a stroller fit class at the Clear Lake Recreation Center. It was the first time that I have worked out in several years. I am sure I will feel it tomorrow. It was a great class. I plan on going every Thursday. Sorry I didn't get a picture to add. Maybe next time. Feel free to join us.
My Kitchen
So the majority of you know that I can't keep a clean house. Maybe its because I am a mom of three or maybe I am just a slacker but what ever the case is I just had to share a picture of my clean Kitchen. It has actually been clean for 6 days and not even one dirty dish has been left in the sink. I do have to admit that we went out and bought a new toaster and coffee pot because the old ones were a mess. I am curious myself to see how long this lasts.

Pool Party
Yesterday our old neighbors from Dickinson invited us over for a shirmp, crab boil and pool party. Their uncle had gone out of town and offered his house to his nephews to use for some fun. Cassidy and Jordan had a blast in the pool. Irelynn was in for a little while. We stayed until just after dark. The mosquitos were horrible. They could have carried us away.

Busy Day
Today we started out by going to the grocery store. We left early so the girls didn't even have breakfast. I hit the donut isle first to stop the hunger pains. Then we continued on until we spent almost $200. Keep in mind Bill usually does the shopping. I hate grocery stores. After unloading we headed to Acrosports for a playdate. The girls had a blast and were given Gymnastic metals for the olympics. Afterwards we headed to Lupes were we met up with Daddy. He had been out of town since Sunday afternoon. Cassidy and Jordan shrieked with excitement when they saw their daddy. We then left Lupe's and went home. Cassidy crashed out on the couch while Jordan and I made flower clips and watched TV. Then we had tacos for dinner and started getting the girls ready for bed. I fed and changed Irelynn so all Daddy had to do was get her to sleep while I left to play Bunco. When I called to check in, after Bunco was finished, Bill said Irelynn had screamed the majority of the time so I came home. I got her to sleep and I am updating my blog. Then I am off to sleep.

Friends again
Today we went over to Dee's house in the morning and then to Shelley's house in the afternoon. The girls had a blast playing dress-up. After leaving Shelley's we met Dee at Chick -fil-A where the kids ate dinner and played in the playzone. I spent most of the time trying to take a picture of Irelynn smiling.
Friends
Bill decided to go to his CPOA convention for the week so we have been trying to keep busy. Yesterday we spent the morning over at Heather's house and then Dee and her kids came over to play here. Cassidy and Jordan didn't have a nap so they were out by 7 pm. Irelynn wasn't far behind them. I actually had her asleep in her crib by 8 pm.

The Jungle Book Kids
Yesterday we took the girls to a play of the Jungle Book Kids at the Bay Area theatre and voice academy. It was a great performace. The kids learned there parts in 9 days flat. Cassidy and Jordan really enjoyed it. The only part that got to them was the roaring of Sher Kahn and the screaching of the monkey's.

Chuck E Cheese Birthday Party
This evening we went to Chuck E Cheese for Shane and Sasha's 4th birthday. Cassidy thought she was brave going up to the mechanical Chuck but when the costume Chuck came out she said she wouldn't go up to him. I thought the girls were overcomig their fear of people in costumes but when Chuck E Cheese walked out Jordan started crying immediately. Irelynn didn't seem to mind being next to Chuck.
Please Help me Mommy
The things Cassidy and Jordan do to Irelynn leave her with the expression "please Help Me". They enjoy putting things on her head and around her. They pile toys up next to her hoping that she might just pick one up and start playing with it. They love Irelynn more than anything. Daddy and Mommy no longer produce the excitement they once had when we would come home from an outing without them. Now it is the automatic response of "where is baby". Hopefully the happy squeels will surface again one day when Cassidy and Jordan first see there Mommy and Daddy in the morning. But for now Mommy will have to settle for the kisses they give me right before they sneak another kiss for Irelynn.

Haircuts
This morning Bill took Cassidy and Jordan to Palm Beach and Irelynn slept the whole time they were gone. I stayed home and cleaned the house. Not exactly what I wanted to be doing in a quiet house but it needed to be done. When the girls got home we took Irelynn to the doctors to have her eye checked. Turns out to just be a clogged tear duct. To end the day we headed to TGF to get their hair cut. Cassidy was a little dispappointed because her hair wasn't as short as Jordan's.

Cinderella
Today we took the girls to see Cinderella performed by the Kids Backporch Productions. It was at an Auditorium in Pearland. The girls really enjoyed it. After the play was over they got to go on stage and get their picture take in the coach. The play was performed by children ages 4 - 16. The props and costumes were great. We look forward to going back again.

Tropical Storm Edouard
Tropical Storm Edouard was supposed to hit here today brining on 50 to 60mph winds but in the middle of the night it moved northward. We had steady rain from 6 am to about 2 am but very little rain. We took the girls to Chuck E Cheese for some fun. The place was empty so our girls had the run of the place.

Water Logged
The girls have spent the last two days playing in the water. Yesterday we had a waterslide playdate here at our house with the Multiples playgroup and then today we swam over at Heather S's house and had another waterslide playdate for Mom and Tots. Even Irelynn got in the water for a brief time. She wasn't to pleased because she was hungry.
