For the month of May, Cassidy won the character trait award for fairness. She was able to keep the sign in the living room window for several weeks. I am so proud of my girls.

May 16th
We have never actually had the girls birthday party on their birthday so usually we celebrate with a cake that we make together. This year Cassidy and Jordan made the cake on their own. Well not completely. Rylea, the neighbor girl, helped too.

The Amazing Survivor Challenger
Bill and I put on another great party on May 8th. It was the amazing race, survivor and a scavenger hunt all combined. We even had two people wrestling over puzzle pieces while blindfolded.
Kindergarten Field Day
The girls had their feild day on May 7th. they had a great time. This was the first year that the kindergarteners didn't compete against the other classes. We were told that too many parents complained that their children were upset when they didn't win. Personally I believe they need to learn about competitions early so parents can help them deal with loosing.
Upside down Strawbery plant
On May 1st the girls planted strawberry bulbs in an upside down planter. Today is the 15th and we don't have any sign of strawberries growing.
