On July 9th I took the girls to the indoor water park in Angleton by myself. It is a good thing I bought a life jacket for Irelynn. She didn't want any help with anything. Cassidy and Jordan enjoyed practicing their swimming and jumping into the pool. My little fish.
Irelynn and I went to Jump N Jungle while Cassidy and Jordan were at VBS. Irelynn had a good time for about 30 min. and was ready to go. It got really crowded. Good thing I got her in with a free pass I had.
We went swimming over at Jeanne's house. The kids had a blast on the slide. Irelynn was hanging with the big kids. There is little fear in that child. Scares me sometimes.
I have always told the girls that they could get their ears pierced when they wanted too. Up until their 6th birthday they had no interest. So on May 26th I took them up to the mall and they both had them pierced.
On May 23 the girls had their final dance recital. There instructor was going away to college and the owner of the dance studio sold the company. We opted to put the girls in tumbling and cheer.
The girls had their 6th birthday party at acrofit gymnasicts. They jumped on trampolines, played on a giant slide, climbed ladders, jumped into pits and much more.
For the month of May, Cassidy won the character trait award for fairness. She was able to keep the sign in the living room window for several weeks. I am so proud of my girls.
We have never actually had the girls birthday party on their birthday so usually we celebrate with a cake that we make together. This year Cassidy and Jordan made the cake on their own. Well not completely. Rylea, the neighbor girl, helped too.
