The Houston Museum of Natural Science

Today Bill and I met up with Dee and took all the kiddos to the Natural Science museum. The girls saw replicas of dinasaurs, different species of animals, tribal stuff and best of all was the Butterflys. I had several land on me and Bill had one on his shoulder. The girls loved it but did not want them to land on them. We had a card that had all the different butterflys on it and we took it around trying to match them. Jordan's favorite was the Blue Morpho Butterfly because it is shown on Diego. Not too far into the trip home Cassidy and Jordan were fast asleep and Irelynn was cooing away.

First Day of School

Jordan and Cassidy started their first day of school today at Clear Lake United Methodist Church. They will go on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 -2. To prepare for school Cassidy picked out a Tinkerbell backpack and Jordan picked a princess one. This morning they helped me pack their lunches and get their backpacks ready. Off to school we went. When we got there the girls had to practice tracing and writing their names. Mommy helped a little and then gave hugs and kisses. Mommy is very proud of her girls. They did not shed a tear.

Peanut Butter Balls

Yesterday Bill took the van to work thinking that it was going to rain. The girls and I were stuck at home so we made the best of it. We made get well scrapbooking pages for our friend Mary, we played games and we made peanut butter balls. Jordan enjoyed eating them as much as she enjoyed making them. Cassidy was just into making them. Mommy liked eating them as well. Daddy made it home from work around 6:30 pm with not a drop of rain all day.

Check out the Cooks

Cassidy and Jordan love to help their daddy make dinner. He is way more patient with the girls then I am. They made pork loin steaks, Mac and cheese and dinner rolls. They love their little aprons and pot holders which they call pinchers.

Rock The Bayou Music Festival

Shelley, Dee and I ventured out without the hubbies and the kiddos on Friday night. Let me say that we had a blast. My main goal was to see Skid Row but once again Sebastian Bach disappointed me. He is no longer with the band and his replacement stunk. Queensryche, Ratt and Faster Pussycat where great. We didn't get home until 2 am and boy did I pay for it the next day. Today is Sunday and I am still beat.

Stroller fit

Today I took Irelynn to a stroller fit class at the Clear Lake Recreation Center. It was the first time that I have worked out in several years. I am sure I will feel it tomorrow. It was a great class. I plan on going every Thursday. Sorry I didn't get a picture to add. Maybe next time. Feel free to join us.

My Kitchen

So the majority of you know that I can't keep a clean house. Maybe its because I am a mom of three or maybe I am just a slacker but what ever the case is I just had to share a picture of my clean Kitchen. It has actually been clean for 6 days and not even one dirty dish has been left in the sink. I do have to admit that we went out and bought a new toaster and coffee pot because the old ones were a mess. I am curious myself to see how long this lasts.
