My friend Brenda and I decided to take the kiddos to the zoo on Sat. It was so neat to see the excitement in Irelynn's eyes every time she saw an animal move. We were looking at the monkey's and Irelynn let out one of her high pitched squeals and a little boy said "Daddy was that the monkey". I responded with "no it was just my little monkey".

starting her young

When we were getting ready to move to the new house the girls both said they wanted dolphins on their walls. I originally used an overhead projector and put two realistic looking dolphins together on one wall. After realizing that there was no way I could paint the dolphins and continue to make them look realistic, I called a friend. My friend Deb came to me house and amazed me with her work. I painted over the dolphins that I had traced and Deb free handed these two dolphins and put a lot of time and effort into painting them. Jordan's dolphin is accented with the small pink flowers and Cassidy's with the blue. She also added glitter to them to make the flowers sparkle. The girls are very happy with their dolphins. Thank-you Deb for a wonderful job.

Cassidy's surgery
Cassidy had her tonsils and adenoids removed today at Bay Area Surgi Care Center. She was wonderful. She never cried. When she first woke up she asked for the duck that the care center had given her prior to surgery. The next thing she asked was "can we go home, I want to see Tressa" (Tressa is the babysitter).
The Escalade and outdoor fun
Cassidy and Jordan are now the proud owners of a Barbie Escalade. Their knees were incredibly crunched in the dora jeeps and they just love riding around the cul de sac. Irelynn and Maggie both look scared in the Escalade but both loved it. Maggie would scream and kick every time her turn was up.
Irelynn and Maggie also had fun playing in the back yard that day.
