Irelynn's One Year check up

Yesterday I took Irelynn to her 1 yr appointment. Poor baby got 4 shots. She weighs 24 lbs 13 oz. and growing like a week. She is my chunk munk and I love every ounce and every little roll on her body. Today Irelynn took her first three steps. She did it twice and then I got the video camera. Notice their is no video. Hopefully we will catch some of those first steps and be able to post the video.

Paul Hopkins Park family day

Today we went by the new house to look at some things that needed fixing. Then we stopped by HEB and bought a rotiserree chicken and headed to the park. We went to feed the ducks but didn't see any at first. Irelynn and Jordan had fun watching the water through the slats on the bridge. After taking some pics we headed to the pavillion to eat. We then spotted some geese and 2 ducks under the bridge. Irelynn was scared to death of the Geese. Bill got bit on the shoe by one. Those suckers can be aggressive. We then ran into the ice cream truck on the way out and were forced to scour up change so Cassidy and Jordan could have ice cream.

Jump N Jungle

June 17th we headed to Jump N Jungle for some fun. Irelynn was not afraid of anything. We went down the big slide several times and she spent a bit of time trying to climb up it. Cassidy and Jordan had a blast.

Angleton Indoor waterpark

On June 15th we made the drive to Angleton. It was about a 45 min. drive but worth it. The girls had a great time.

Irelynn's Birthday Party

We had a small birthday party for Irelynn on Sat. June 13th. Our friend Kristi Paul made two wonderful Elmo cakes for the occassion. Not only did they look amazing but they tasted amazing too. Irelynn had a blast. She even kissed Elmo on her cake but we missed the photo opp. She received an adorable bathing suit with cover up for her birthday and some cute interactive toys. Thank-you to everyone for making her day special.

Our Baby Girl One!!!!

Today is June 11th and our little girl is one. It is so neat seeing her grow but at the same time it is sad knowing that I will not experience the baby stage again. Irelynn is a true blessing.

Irelynn's present from Grammy and Papa

Grammy and Papa brought Irelynn's present early since they were not going to be able to attend her party. Irelynn loves it and has gotten on it daily.
