Success again

First she figures out how to climb in the rocking chair and then she makes it up the slide. What next?

Irelynn was so proud of herself for climbing up in the rocking chair.

On Sun. May 24th the girls got to go to an exciting birthday party. There was a trackless train and and an ice cream stand. There was a pinata, a cup cake walk, and a carousel cake. Midway throught the party there was a horrible thunder storm that had most of the kids screaming. Luckily it cleared back up and they got to continue on with the fun.

Awesome Kid's day

On May 22 the girls had awesome kids day at their school. They had snowcones, got their hair painted, faces painted, jumped in bouncers, played games and got to say goodbye to their teachers.

summer time

We started to set up the swimming pool on May 21st. The girls love playing in it while it is filling up.

Jordan and Cassidy graduate

Jordan and Cassidy graduated from pre-kindergarden on May 20th 2009 and will graduate from highschool in 2022. I am so proud of my soon to be kindergardeners. They are so smart and did wonderful on the end of the school evaluations. Their teachers were absoulutely amazing and will be missed.

So is it sad that I have an almost 1 yr old that loves the water and has no problem putting her face in the water and then a 5 yr old that is spastic about getting water in her eyes? I plan on trying to get the girls back in swim lessons, but the person I was interested in is booked up.

May 17th update on the house

The house is coming along wonderfully. Considering Bill and I have no experience in designing or putting together colors, I think it looks great. We are also looking into having the interior painted and I am so excited about choosing the colors.

Birthday Celebration

Today was the girls actual birthday party. First we took them to dance to have the recital pics. taken. Afterwards we came back to the house and took pics with the five. Then Shelley came over and watched Irelynn while Bill and I took the girls to see the play Alice and Wonderland. Then we finished out the night with hamburger, hot dogs, cake, ice cream and confetti. (yes the girls decorated their cake) The girls also recieved Greatful Dead bears and bikes for their birthday. Bella and lilly gave the girls shrinky dinks and clothes. The grils had a blast.

Story behind the dead bears is... I have a collection of them that the girls are not allowed to touch except on rare occasions. They have both told us numerous time that they want a bear. Jordan wanted the bear named "baby pink" and Cassidy wanted the bear named "Cassidy". Well after Bill couldn't find them at the four dead concerts he went to, we ordered them off of ebay. The girls were way more excited for the bears then they were for the bikes. Go figure.

It is hard to believe we have made it through 5 wonderful but tough years. The girls are growing up quick. They start kindergarden in August and i honestly believe they are ready. They know how to spell all their colors plus words like love, mom, dad, dog, cat, etc. They write their first and last name. They count to 100 with few mistakes.
